The New PROTECH 7035-SL
Lithium Battery Powered Carbon Monoxide (CO) Detector
includes an electrochemical sensor with life monitor,
digital display with memory, factory preinstalled battery with
activation tab, tamper-resistant battery compartment, and secure
mounting features.
Carbon monoxide
levels are measured and recorded by a state-of-the-art electrochemical
sensor.
When a chronic carbon monoxide level of
70 ppm or more is detected, a flashing Red LED and 85db pulsating alarm
are activated, and the carbon monoxide level
is alpha-numerically displayed up to 500 ppm.
Pressing the reset button temporarily
mutes the audible signal while the
carbon monoxide level is rechecked. If
carbon monoxide remains at 70 ppm or higher, the
visual and audible alarm signals are automatically reactivated.
After ventilation, the LED is auto-reset to a flashing Green (power on),
the audible signal is silenced, and detection restarts.
The
current and peak carbon monoxide level detected
(from 10 to 500 ppm),
peak time duration, and COHb calculation can be displayed by pressing
the test/reset button. An internal clock monitors the sensor life
and activates visual and audible expiration signals at five years.
A long-life lithium battery is factory
preinstalled within a compartment locked with tamper-resistant screw. An
activation tab protects battery during shipment and storage. Just pull
out tab to begin operation. No need to insert, replace or service
battery, which is factory guaranteed to last life of detector.
Secure-Lock mounting
system includes a mounting plate which fastens to wall at eye level.
ProTech detector slides down onto mounting plate and is secured by an integral
restraining flange. Deters tampering with installation.
