OSHA STANDARDS
REGARDING CARBON MONOXIDE

OSHA standards prohibit worker exposure to more than 50 ppm of carbon monoxide over an 8-hour day.  The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) further specifies a limit of 25 ppm over an 8-hour day, and an evacuation level of 200 ppm.  OSHA recommends the installation of carbon monoxide monitors with audible alarms to protect your employees.

CONSUMER PRODUCTS SAFETY COMMISSION'S
RECOMMENDATION FOR CARBON MONOXIDE

CPSC recommends that every home have a carbon monoxide alarm near each sleeping area.  CPSC states that millions of homes in America have alarms with dead or missing batteries.  Our DC powered carbon monoxide alarms are equipped with a lithium battery, which is guaranteed to last the life of the detector. The long-life battery is factory preinstalled in a locked compartment.  Protecting your family is easier than you think.
